Cinnamon Cookies

Ingredients:
500 g flour
250 ml Montare D’oro whipping crémе
200 g butter
150 g sugar
100 g walnuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Ingredients for the glaze:
40 ml Montare D’oro whipping crémе
80 g powdered sugar

Preparation:
Crush the walnuts. Mix the sugar, salt, baking soda, and walnuts together. Add the melted butter. Gradually add half of the sifted flour, the Montare D’oro whipping crémе, the cinnamon, and then the remaining flour until you obtain a dough that is not too thick.*

Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 5 mm on a floured surface, cut out cookies in various shapes, and arrange them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.

For the glaze:
In a small saucepan, gently warm the Montare D’oro whipping crémе (without boiling it). Add the powdered sugar and stir until smooth. Let it cool.

Decorate the cookies with the white sugar glaze.

Tip: To make cutting easier, chill the dough in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours before rolling it out.
